Ages 3-5 Years (Infants) - Classes

At M3 Studios, our classes have the perfect combination of learning new skills, building your child’s confidence and igniting their talent whilst having lots of fun!

These high energy classes are the perfect introductory for children aged 3 – 5, and up to ages 6 for Ballet & Tap and ACRO Dance to start building a foundation in dance and performance. We create a safe and disciplined environment, and adopt a more professional approach to our teaching, whilst understanding that students are more likely to learn when they are enjoying themselves. Our teachers are specialised in working with students of this age range and all derive from a professional background, with West End credits and prestigious training to their names.

All of our teachers are regularly enhanced DBS checked and First Aid trained for your complete piece of mind.

In Musical Theatre classes, we dedicate an equal amount of time to Acting, Singing and Dancing. We aim to awaken and exercise the child’s imagination, and allow them to express themselves freely and to feel confident in singing and speaking both as part of the group, and as an individual. We place emphasis on their development in their understanding of their voice, i.e. breathing, support, tuning, pitch. Students will regularly learn songs from their favourite musicals, and, depending on the term, they will be working on various material towards a performance or presentation at the end of that term. For Dance we focus on flexibility, poise, posture, rhythm. We also focus on physicality in acting and particularly confidence building. Infant students will perform in a Summer showcase each July as well as various presentations at the end of terms.

For Ballet and Tap, students will learn the fundamentals of these disciplines. In Ballet, they will develop their flexibility and begin to understand the movement and dynamic of this art. They will learn routines, and regularly partake in progressions and corner work which will help give them the practice they need to harness and develop a particular movement. In Tap, they will understand rhythm and how to manipulate this. They will drill exercises and routines such as time steps in order to develop their understanding in this discipline. Our teachers have been trained under the NATD association.
