GENERAL LEGAL TERMS
This contract is between you and us. No other person shall have any rights to enforce any of its terms.
We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation. If this happens, we will notify you in writing.
Each provision of these Terms operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any part is unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
If we fail to insist that you perform any of your obligations under these Terms, or if we delay in enforcing our rights, this will not constitute a waiver of those rights. Any waiver will only be valid if confirmed by us in writing.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and both you and we agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
1. GENERAL
These terms and conditions apply to all students attending classes at M3 Studios LLP (“we”, “us”, “our”). By enrolling your child, you agree to be bound by these terms.
This contract is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
2. FEES & PAYMENTS
The price for each class/student is set out in our starter packs and/or confirmed on your invoice. Fees are payable monthly in advance on the 1st day of each month.
Our academic year is based on 36 weeks of tuition, which includes Show weeks where applicable. The annual tuition fee is divided into 12 equal monthly instalments, regardless of the number of sessions taking place in any individual calendar month.
This means that payments are due each month, including months where fewer or no classes take place, as the cost of the full teaching year is spread evenly across 12 months.
Price increases will occur no more than once per year.
If any fees for classes, shows, courses, or other services are not paid when due, we reserve the right to charge interest on overdue sums at a rate of 10%
Any cancelled, failed, or returned Direct Debit or card payment will be subject to a £20 administration fee.
We do not offer refunds, credits, or make-up classes for absence from class.
3. ENROLMENT & TRIALS
Trial sessions are offered subject to availability.
If your child joins part way through a month, your first payment will be adjusted so that you only pay for the remaining sessions in that month.
4. ATTENDANCE & BEHAVIOUR
Students are expected to behave respectfully towards staff and other students at all times.
We reserve the right to refuse entry to, or remove, any student whose behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or negatively impacts the experience of others. No refunds will be given in such circumstances.
5. ARRIVAL & COLLECTION
Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring that their child arrives on time and is collected promptly at the end of each session where required.
Children in Year 6 and below must be collected from the studio by a parent/guardian or authorised adult at the end of each session.
Students in Year 7 and above will be released independently at the end of sessions in line with our policy.
By enrolling your child, you acknowledge and accept that responsibility for your child transfers to you at the end of the session and once they leave the studio premises.
If alternative arrangements are required, these must be agreed with us in advance.
6. MEDICAL & EMERGENCY CARE
Parents/guardians must provide accurate and up-to-date medical information for their child.
In the event of illness or injury, we will take all reasonable steps to contact a parent/guardian. Where necessary, we reserve the right to seek emergency medical treatment for your child.
Any required medication (e.g. inhalers) must be handed to the teacher at the start of the session.
7. HEALTH & SAFETY
Participation in classes involves physical activity. While all reasonable care is taken, M3 Studios LLP cannot be held responsible for minor injuries sustained during normal class activities.
Parents/guardians confirm that their child is physically fit to take part in classes.
Children attending M3 Studios LLP must be toilet trained and able to use the toilet independently.
Staff are not able to provide personal care or assist children with toileting.
If a child has an accident or requires assistance, we will contact the parent/guardian or emergency contact to attend.
If your child is unwell, they should not attend classes.
We do not offer refunds, credits, or make-up classes for absence due to illness or any other reason.
8. MEDIA & PHOTOGRAPHY
Classes, performances, and events may be photographed or filmed for operational, safeguarding, and educational purposes.
Any use of images or recordings for promotional or marketing purposes will only take place where appropriate consent has been provided.
9. TIMETABLES & STAFFING
We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to class times, locations, or teaching staff where necessary.
10. MEMBERSHIP, NOTICE & TERMINATION
Each student is enrolled on a minimum term of 3 months, which begins automatically at the end of the initial 2-week paid trial period.
After this initial 3-month period, membership will continue on a rolling basis unless cancelled in accordance with the terms below.
Notice Period
One full calendar month’s notice is required to terminate membership.
Notice must be provided by email to: admin@m3studios.co.uk
The notice period begins from the date the email is received (not when it is sent).
No refunds will be given for part months.
Example:
If notice is received on 15th September, membership will end on 31st October, and fees will remain payable up to that date.
Summer Term & June Notice (Important)
Due to the way our academic year and payment structure operates, the cost of the summer term is spread across payments up to and including August, even though no classes take place in that month.
For this reason, any notice received during June will be deemed to take effect at the end of August, and the August instalment will remain payable.
Summer Showcase
If notice is provided before 1st June during the summer term, and your child wishes to take part in the Summer Showcase, the following options apply:
- You may provide one full calendar month’s notice and your child will not take part in the Showcase; or
- Your child may take part in the Showcase and complete the term, in which case fees will remain payable up to and including the final instalment in August.
Issues with Tuition
If you have any concerns regarding tuition, please contact us as soon as possible and allow us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue.
11. FORCE MAJEURE
We are not liable for any failure to deliver classes due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to illness, venue issues, or government restrictions.
12. DATA PROTECTION
We collect and store personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including UK GDPR.
Your information is used solely for the safe and effective running of our classes and will not be shared with third parties without consent unless required by law.
13. GENERAL
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force.
These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and M3 Studios LLP.
